Holding My Head Up with
INDIGO MOJO

Indigo Mojo

On Thursday 10th July I went to The Ridge and Furrow pub in Gloucester to see a band called INDIGO MOJO. The band started to play at about 9.30 with the first song being "Get It On" originally by T-REX.

They then continued with other classics from the 60s, 70s and early 80s. Some of the tracks played were, "Green Stuff", (which made me think of Paul Jones and the Blues Band) "Black Night" and "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple.

When they started ZZ TOP's "Tush" I thought they were going to play "Schools Out" by Alice Cooper because the way they played the opening riff was very similar.

My least favourite track on the night was "White Room" as I feel this is best performed with two vocalists. However, the best track of the night was "Hold Your Head Up" which was originally by ARGENT, the track was performed so well that I actually prefer INDIGO MOJO's version.

The line-up for the band was:-

Needless to say I had a great evening and hope to see them again.
